“Nothing Can Stop Her: The Journey of Hina Arora”

My name is Hina Arora, and I work as an Engineering Manager at Jio. Through my narrative, which has been nothing short of motivating and self-belief-inspiring, I intend “to educate others” about “What it takes to continue” even when “life adds many challenges.”

Beginning as a software engineer at Eninov, I progressed to become a deputy manager at GoMechanic.in, a senior software engineer at BYJU’S, and finally an Engineering Manager at Jio. I’ve had the opportunity to work with an array of technologies along the way.

Today, I’m honored to be a Microsoft Student Partner and a member of Google’s Women Techmakers.

However, life had other ideas for me. In 2018, I was diagnosed with “fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition” that has presented me with unforeseen problems. It wasn’t easy, but I wasn’t going down without a fight. I battled back and regained my health through physiotherapy, medications, and sheer determination.

I wanted to battle and win to reflect the strength of a woman who serves the community she lives in. I believe in Winston Churchill’s adage, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

My story isn’t only about my own accomplishments; it’s about the impact that I have made in people’s lives. My dreams were unaffected by life’s difficulties. From overcoming physical challenges to celebrating professional accomplishments, I’ve learned that perseverance, hard work, and an optimistic attitude can pave the way to greatness.

As a woman, I am capable of overcoming any obstacle. Working behind the scenes requires a lot of self-motivation. At this time, I start compiling job postings, assessing resumes, coaching freshers and advising on technical challenges, interacting with companies who have vacant positions, arranging interview calls, and sharing my experience with the community. This is what motivates me.

This drive has transformed an “Engineer” within me into a “Technical Career Branding Coach.

I’ve worked with over 15+ brands and delivered over 40+ mentorship sessions.

My social footprints have been endorsed and are publicly viewable on Linkedin and Topmate.io.It inspires me to be progressive and give back, which is why I am always willing to lend a hand.

As I continue to inspire and impact people, the story I shared serves as a reminder that no challenge is insurmountable. We can overcome any adversity and emerge stronger than before provided we have determination and courage.

So, let us continue to push limits, break down barriers, and encourage one another. After all, we’re more than simply professionals; we’re catalysts for change.
